Cold Weather Shelter Volunteer Opportunity
Our neighbor National Avenue Christian Church is part of the Crisis Cold Weather Shelter network, and opens their building to shelter people and their pets when the temperatures drop below 32 degrees. This is a vital program for our community, and they are in need of volunteers in a variety of roles. The shelter is open or closed based on the weather, so you can sign-up to be part of their volunteer database and be alerted when the shelter opens (note: this is not a commitment to serve on a specific date or time, but to be able to volunteer based on availability).
