If you would like a sign to display in your yard to celebrate our neighborhood's Centennial, contact us. Some signs are available for free for select high-visibility locations, or they can be purchased for $20. Email your sign request with your street address to uhnasgf@gmail.com or click the link below to purchase a sign using PayPal (choose "Centennial Yard Sign" from the drop-down list).
Centennial Celebrations will be so fun!
Your UHNA Board is planning all kinds of events to celebrate our neighborhood’s 100-year history.
- If you want to get to know your neighbors better, we will have coffee chats, yoga classes, and dinners out.
- You can help strengthen safety by working with the Neighborhood Watch group and attending a show-and-tell about installing exterior security cameras.
- If you like beautification, we will have a WaterWise Garden tour on controlling invasive weeds, a Fassnight Creek cleanup, a two-neighborhood cleanup, and a tour of the Art Museum creek restoration followed by planting some of the 5,000 native plants to be added this spring.
- If you want to work together with other neighborhoods on the Sunshine Corridor study and a neighborhood plan for UHNA, we will have small group meetings and SNUG meetings with other neighborhoods.
- All culminating in an old fashioned picnic with food, fun, games and speeches in Phelps Grove Park on May 31st.
